A small side project of Camp Firebelly, we met with Rick Valicenti of Thirst and he gave us this assignment:

noticing: this week record what you notice / listening: hear what you listen to / responding poetically: share generously

After spending a week with a group of amazingly talented creative people, I realized that sometimes it’s just the act of making something that’s important. It doesn’t matter what – just as long as you’re happy in the end and it satiates you creatively. I spent the afternoon picking up trash around the Firebelly studio, and turned it in to a bit of public art. This simple activity got people in the neighborhood talking to each other, and cleaned things up at the same time!
