In 2008 I participated in the first annual Camp Firebelly – a sleepaway summer camp connecting fresh talent with non profits in need. During the course of 10 days we designed and produced a 32 page ‘zine, screenprinted poster, and postcard set for Beyond Media Education, a local Chicago non profit. We also worked on several additional projects with Rick Valicenti of 3st, Mike Perry, Amy Rowan, and Delicious Design League. It was an experience I’ll never forget.
